Ready. Ready for anything...
- Royal Ranger Motto
Royal Rangers was founded in 1962, and since then more than 2,000,000 boys have answered the call. The Royal Rangers program is designed to help mentor boys through the godly leadership of Christian men as they learn skills and perform activities to help them grow stronger physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially.
Here at Willow Oak, we have had an active Royal Rangers program for decades and we feel like we are just getting started! Our group is known as Outpost 145 and you can regularly find us at Sectional and District events for the State of Florida. We also help our boys experience adventures like camping on a beach, swimming with manatees, or enjoying an overnight fishing trip.
Our Rangers learn skills which may include tool craft, fire craft, rope craft, leadership, model rocketry, or firearm safety just to name a few. We also study God's Word together earning Bible Merits as we journey down the Advancement Trail.

Wednesday Nights 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Drop off and Playground Time 6:00pm-6:30pm
Some of our students rely on the Transportation Ministry to pick them up for our Wednesday Night classes, while others are dropped off or drive themselves. We have volunteers and a Safety Team on site during this time as our students gather on the Playground.
Classes from 6:30pm-8:00pm
Our class time begins with all students gathering in the Youth Room for a couple worship songs, after which our students retreat with their Leaders to their class rooms. Our students are dismissed from class at 8:00pm and directed securely to the playground for pickup by parents or drop-off by our Transportation Ministry.
